About the writer:

Cynthia Matthews has worked as a chamber maid, potato peeler, data entry operator, teacher, and vice-principal of special education programs. She writes, paints, and instructs online courses for teachers in Bruce County, Ontario. Her fiction and non-fiction have appeared in literary journals in USA, UK, Canada, South Africa, and Australia. 

About the performer:

Pamela Mala Sinha is an award-winning actress and playwright working in theatre, film and television. Her first solo play, Crash, which she also performed, garnered six Dora award nominations and 4 wins, including Outstanding New Play. Her second play, Happy Place, premiered at Soulpepper Theatre in 2015. Pamela is writing the screenplay for Happy Place for Sienna Films Toronto, and is currently at work on a new play commission for Soulpepper Theatre Company. She will be touring CRASH with them internationally in 2017.
