Vitals is a solo storytelling show about a paramedic. Anna spends her days saving lives and dealing with the darkness, cruelty, and sheer incompetence of the people all around her. How many 911 calls can she deal with, before she has her own emergency?
Rosamund Small is a playwright interested in all forms of theatre, including musicals, documentary, traditional, sketch and immersive works. Her new show TomorrowLove opens in Toronto this November (Outside the March). In January 2017 Rosedale Heights School of the Arts premieres Rosamund’s large-scale, one hundred character immersive experience Maven Academy, a piece created for a cast of 100 teenage performers. She also collaborates regularly with choreographer Robert Binet on multidisciplinary and dance works (Orpheus Becomes Eurydice with the Banf Centre and The National Ballet, and Terra Incognita with Wild Space Ballet). Rosamund is a member of the Soulpepper Academy.
Katherine is an actor and playwright based in Toronto. She is an associate artist with Outside The March and has appeared in various productions including, Mr. Marmalade (Sookie/Emily the Babysitter), Sarah Ruhl’s Passion Play (Outside The March/Convergence Theatre/Sheep No Wool), Vitals (Dora Nomination), and most recently, Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play. She is currently working alongside Britta Johnson to create Stupidhead!: A Musical Comedy, debuting at Theatre Passe Muraille in 2017. Stupidhead! also appeared at last years’ Summerworks Festival and won Best New Performance Text.
